School was out for the year and there is nothing to do for summer. All of the kids love to play outside riding bikes, playing hula hoop and swimming. Timmy Tortuga loves to run and play with his good friend Munkee Monkey. For Timmy’s birthday, his parents gave him a soccer ball. Munkee Monkey, Tortoise and the hare.
Munkee Monkey woke up early one morning and asked his Mommy Monkey if she would take him to the library.
“Certainly we can go, do you have any book in mind?” she asked him.
“There is a new Space Munkee book that I want to check out.” The two of them finished breakfast and headed down to the library.
Lo and behold, guess who was at the library? J’mion the Lion, the famous story teller. “Hello there children!” J’mion bellowed. He had one roar of a laugh that made all of the children giggle.

Lizard Lips Larry is the Pirate in the picture. He was out at Atlantic Armstrong State University’s art fair last Saturday. Can you guess his favorite letter of the Alphabet? He told me that it was “R”! Can you believe that?
